How Ontario Asphalt Paving Pros Works
Ontario Asphalt Paving Pros builds and maintains asphalt driveways, parking lots and private roads in Ontario, California and the cities around it, from Upland and Rancho Cucamonga to Chino, Eastvale and Fontana. The work covers new paving, overlays, sealcoating, patching, crack sealing and line striping.
Paving in the Inland Empire is shaped by heat more than cold. Ontario averages a July high near 94 degrees, and a dark asphalt surface in full sun runs far hotter than the air. Hot pavement softens, scuffs and ruts under heavy loads, and the sun dries out the binder that holds the stone together. On top of that, the region carries a lot of truck traffic, because Ontario sits beside a major cargo airport and three freeways. So most of our planning is about base strength, mix thickness and timing the work around the heat.
What happens at an estimate
We measure the area, check how water drains during the few storms the valley gets each winter, look for soft spots and failed patches, and note where your pavement meets the curb, the garage slab or a gutter. If the job reaches the city right-of-way, such as a driveway approach or a curb cut, we tell you so and confirm what the city requires before scheduling.
What goes in the quote
- Removal and haul-off of old material
- Base repair and the compacted depth of new aggregate base
- Asphalt thickness for each area
- Edges, transitions and drainage work
- Sealcoating or striping, if included
- The price for each line, so you can compare bids on equal terms
Work starts only after you approve the quote in writing, and any change in scope is written up for your sign-off first. Dust control and cleanup follow South Coast air district rules, which limit visible dust and require mud and dirt tracked onto a paved street to be cleaned up.
